Yeah! We got a cat from the animal shelter today :D


It's a red cat, kinda looks like the red version of the one from Alice in Wonderland. Officially it's called Joerie, but we decided to name it Poekie (pronounced as: 'Pookie')
I have to show you both this pic and the video that goes with it.
New appartment, new cat, I consider myself pretty happy right now.

anyone know what to do when your cat is miao-ing all night in the living room after you've gone to bed?

:\ i really don't know then
all i can say is either keep your door closed and hope that he eventually gets used to it and gives up after a few nights or just let him in
if it's really so bad, you can start disciplining him for it... every time you hear him meowing, spray him with water or something, he might get the idea and stop, but it seems mean for just wanting to be with you :P

thanx for the tip! He was pretty quiet last night. No more meowing. Only this morning, after he figured out we were awake he started again. But that's ok. When i come out of the bedroom, first thing he comes at me, purring and all :D
